QA Graphics, Iowa interactive design firm, is pleased to introduce Stem, a framework and proprietary content management system that the company has created and is now using as they develop custom interactive applications.
QA Graphics continues to seek ways to provide customers with more affordable solutions. Over the course of six years of providing custom applications, QA Graphics wanted to find a way to provide custom applications while using a consistent framework. To do that, the company developed Stem. This framework and proprietary content management system is used by the development team to efficiently and consistently develop custom solutions.
Stem powers the company’s extensive portfolio of applications including the Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard®, Source Displays, Shift Virtual Configurators, mobile applications and other applications. The framework allows QA Graphics to continue to develop scalable solutions with a custom look and feel, now doing so in a faster and more efficient manner. The main benefit that customers will directly be able to see is the content management system (CMS), which provides a simplified interface and ease of use to manage content.
Applications that include the CMS will allow customers to modify and grow their content, images and videos, and ensure their information remains current. With the easy-to-manage CMS, the need for training upon a project’s completion is almost eliminated. Reorganizing content is as simple as drag and drop, and adding new content is very intuitive. The CMS also has additional security features that allows for different levels of users and administrative access, as well as content version control, allowing users to save different versions of content. For example, different versions of information can be set to show during events, seasons, etc.
