RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
The role of the Technical Designer for Building Automation involves converting control drawings into graphical images using a pre-configured symbol library with drag-and-drop functionality. Comprehensive training will be provided by QA Graphics. Applicants should have experience working in collaborative environments and be able to communicate effectively with clients and teammates. Technical aptitude and the ability to learn new software are required for this position.
Applicants must enjoy taking initiative and being innovative. We’re looking for someone who is focused on evolving and embracing new design techniques and development processes. The ideal candidate will be eager to push themselves and their designs to deliver the best products possible. Candidates must be able to work productively independently and within a team in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in industrial design or mechanical engineering
- To have a basic understanding of the latest design software
- Keep accurate and organized project notes
- Be able to provide good customer support for graphical issues
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- The ability to multitask while remaining organized.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
